- Make a plaster mold of the surface of a found square of honeycomb paperboard packaging.
- Press a thin slab of translucent porcelain into the mold. The surface is recorded.
- Peel the facing off the honeycomb board to expose the inner corrugation. Press a thin slab of porcelain on it. The inner structure is recorded.
- Using this and other squares of honeycomb board, cast the empty spaces with plaster and wax. The empty places are filled.
- Leave one set of plaster casts as is to show the texture of the paper surface. Sand another one and finish it with milk. Buff to a delicate sheen.
- Use the waxes to cast the empty spaces in glass. The air is replaced.
